Sterling Street runs between the south-west corner of Montpelier Square and Montpelier Place. It is a short street consisting mainly of three storey Georgian houses (plus basements).
At No. 1 there is a blue plaque where the cartoonist Bruce Bairnsfather lived. There is a particularly grand house at the north eastern end of the street.
The street is a delightful backwater despite its proximity to the shops at Knightsbridge.
