Montpelier Place runs between Montpelier Walk and Montpelier Street. It is particularly attractive street.
On the west end there is a very imposing wide, three-storey house, with six windows with shutters on each of the first and second floors. Halfway along the street, adjacent to the ornate red-brick church, there is another very imposing double-fronted house, called the Yellow House, which (not surprisingly) is painted yellow.
On the north side of the street next to the church is a delightfully hidden-away small cottage called Church Cottage.
At the end of the street there is a neighbourhood pub and an Italian restaurant.
