Lowndes Square

Lowndes Square runs between Lowndes Street and Knightsbridge. It is considered a prime address. The square has a central communal garden with many mature trees. The buildings are mainly six and seven storeys high, some in stucco and some in brick. The north side of the square is dominated by the unusually designed, circular Belgravia Sheraton Hotel and in the north west corner is Harvey Nichols, the department store. In the south east corner there is the Lowndes Hotel, and a few doors down from that, the famous Italian restaurant Zafferano.
