Cadogan Square

Cadogan Square runs between Pont Street and Cadogan Gardens. It is one of the premier garden squares in central London and is very large. The buildings are mainly five storey, red brick, Victorian buildings with a central garden square. The gardens contain many mature trees and is particularly beautiful. The buildings on the north side of the square are particularly outstanding with a grand series of porticos at ground floor level and four porticos at first floor level. Each of the buildings on the western terrace in the north side of the square is unique, with each having very individual styles. Particularly outstanding is No. 52 with its arched roof and elegant front entrance with carvings and miniature porticoes above. The square is considered to be on the same level of exclusivity as Eaton Square.
